Ice fishing is very unpredictable right now with the up and down temperatures and plentiful snowfall. Some lakes are in very rough shape with poor ice conditions after the snow fell last week, and there are still anglers fishing on some of the lakes where the ice is holding up better. 

Overall it is very inconsistent from lake to lake and spot to spot, and it will be changing daily. We're expecting the ice fishing season to grind to a halt here this week with the expected mid 40s to high 50s all week with some mixing in of rain. We're getting the boats prepped and ready for some open water! Fishing opener is fast approaching and we will be updating with ice out and bait updates as we move along!
