Fishing Report, October 29, 2018

Posted by

Fishing had a little bit of a down-tick this week with the rainy weather and limited number of anglers hitting the water. Walleye/perch anglers that continued to go out caught fish, but it was definitely slower than the previous week. Jig and a minnow is the ticket right now in and around 20'. Up your success by searching with electronics before parking on a spot and fishing - most pockets of fish are pretty easy to identify with the sonars.

Muskie fishing has been continuing on with decent action. Most anglers are pulling suckers, but the bulldawgs and slow moving baits seem to be working also. Leech has been the primary point of focus, though any musky lake will product this time of the year.

We're expecting less and less anglers to be out with Firearm season right around the corning and ice will be moving in shortly. Our next report will likely be reporting early ice!
